The Centre of Excellence for Well-Being Sciences (EstWell) is an interdisciplinary research centre led by the University of Tartu and headed by Professor Andero Uusberg. Bringing together researchers from the University of Tartu, Tallinn University, Tallinn University of Technology, and the National Institute for Health Development, EstWell studies how biological, psychological, social, and spatial factors shape human well-being across the life course. The centre develops new ways to measure, understand, and improve well-being through interdisciplinary research and linked longitudinal data infrastructures.
Triin Lauri contributes to EstWell through the Welfare Policies Research Group, which examines how education, welfare institutions, and public policies shape perceptions of fairness, inequality, trust, and well-being. She is also a member of the EstWell board.
