Welfare Experiences is an ERC Consolidator Grant-funded international research project coordinated by Ben Geiger (King’s College London). The project examines how people experience welfare benefits and social protection systems across five countries: Estonia, Hungary, Norway, Spain, and the United Kingdom, focusing on how these experiences shape dignity, fairness, trust, and perceptions of the welfare state. The Estonian partners are Tallinn University, Praxis Think Tank, and the Estonian Chamber of Disabled People (EPIKoda). Triin Lauri leads the Estonian team.
