IMO is part of Estonia’s national research infrastructure roadmap, aiming to develop a comprehensive data ecosystem that combines existing public data with new and previously restricted datasets. Led by Tiit Tammaru, the consortium brings together major Estonian institutions to improve data linkage, quality, and accessibility across domains such as population, education, and social processes.
At Tallinn University, Triin Lauri leads the IMO 2.0 education data development, building a population-wide longitudinal education data infrastructure that links different registries of educational choices and trajectories and enabling research on education and its role across the life course.
